Is Primerica insurance actually a good deal or just expensive term life?

I was approached by a Primerica agent who pitched their term life insurance and mutual fund products. The pitch focused more on becoming an agent myself than on the actual products. I did some research and found that Primerica term life policies tend to be 20-40% more expensive than comparable policies from companies like State Farm or USAA. However, Primerica targets an underserved market - middle-income families who often do not have any life insurance at all. So while the products are not the cheapest, they may be reaching people who would otherwise have no coverage. What do you think - is Primerica providing a valuable service or overcharging an underserved market?

You cannot compare MLM to a traditional job. MLM is entrepreneurship - it carries risk but also unlimited upside potential. If you want guaranteed income, get a 9-to-5. If you want to build something, be prepared to struggle first.

My biggest piece of advice - never recruit someone who cannot afford to lose their investment. If a person is living paycheck to paycheck, you are potentially putting them in a worse financial position. Be ethical about who you bring into the business.

My mom has been in the same MLM for 22 years. She never made much money from it but she genuinely loves the products and the community. She treats it as a hobby, not a business. I think that is the healthiest approach to MLM.
