Some observations: Mary Kay seems to be doing fine with family leadership. Herbalife struggled after Mark Hughes death. Some companies bring in corporate executives who change the culture. Others sell to private equity firms who prioritize profits over distributor relationships. Is the founder-dependent model a fundamental weakness of MLM companies?

My story is different. I joined an MLM at 23 with no business experience. Failed miserably for the first year. Almost quit 5 times.
