I have been approached by three different crypto-based MLM companies in the past month. They promise returns through forex trading, crypto arbitrage, or NFT investments combined with a recruitment-based compensation plan. These seem significantly more dangerous than product-based MLMs because there is no tangible product and the promised returns sound like Ponzi scheme territory. Has anyone been involved in a crypto MLM? What was your experience? And how do these even operate legally?

I tried 3 different MLM companies over 5 years. Total invested: about $15,000. Total earned: about $3,500. Total friendships damaged: at least 10. Would I do it again? Absolutely not. But I do not regret the lessons I learned about myself.
Your story mirrors mine almost exactly. I want you to know that it gets better. I left my MLM 2 years ago and it took about 6 months to stop feeling embarrassed. Now I can talk about it openly and even laugh about some of the ridiculous things I did. Healing takes time but it happens.
This is a one-sided view. I know plenty of people earning full-time income from their MLM business. They work hard, treat it like a real business, and provide genuine value to their customers. Success IS possible.
I am curious about the international aspect. Does your company operate in multiple countries? I have heard that some people are building teams overseas where the market is less saturated.
