The MLM-to-influencer pipeline - when network marketers become content creators

I have noticed many former MLM distributors becoming social media influencers and content creators. They use the skills they learned in MLM - personal branding, storytelling, engagement - and apply them to platforms like YouTube and Instagram. Some are making more as influencers than they ever did in MLM. Is MLM accidentally training the next generation of content creators? Or are these people successful despite the MLM model, not because of it?

Here is my advice for anyone considering MLM: Do not join if you need money now. MLM is a long-term play that might never pay off. Only join if you genuinely love the products and can afford the monthly cost as a consumer. Treat any income as a bonus, not an expectation.

I am curious about the international aspect. Does your company operate in multiple countries? I have heard that some people are building teams overseas where the market is less saturated.

I think you are painting with too broad a brush. Not all MLM companies are the same. I have been with my company for 7 years and earn a consistent $4,000 per month. The key is finding a company with products people actually want to buy.

To everyone who lost money in MLM - it is okay. You are not a failure. You took a risk and it did not work out. That makes you braver than all the people who criticize from the sidelines. Dust yourself off and apply what you learned to your next venture.
