MLM companies going public - what it means for distributors

When an MLM company goes public on the stock exchange, how does it affect distributors? Is it generally good or bad for the average distributor?

This is exactly my experience too. My upline promised me the world and then disappeared after I signed up. I was left trying to figure everything out on my own while paying $150 per month in autoship.

I have been in network marketing for 10 years across 2 companies. Currently earning about $5,500 per month. Here is the truth nobody tells you - it took me 4 years of consistent daily work before I hit $1,000 per month. Most people quit before reaching that point.
