Mentorship in network marketing - finding and being a mentor

How important is having a mentor in MLM? How do I find a good mentor? And now that I have some experience, how do I become an effective mentor for my own team?

This is really helpful. Do you have a link to the income disclosure statement you mentioned? I have been trying to find it for my company but they make it surprisingly hard to locate.

The math is simple and undeniable. In any MLM, the people who join later are at a structural disadvantage because the market becomes increasingly saturated. This is not a feature bug - it is a fundamental design flaw of multi-level compensation structures.

To everyone who lost money in MLM - it is okay. You are not a failure. You took a risk and it did not work out. That makes you braver than all the people who criticize from the sidelines. Dust yourself off and apply what you learned to your next venture.

Here is what bothers me most about the MLM industry: the blame-the-victim mentality. When someone fails, they are told they did not work hard enough, did not believe enough, or did not attend enough events. It is never the company fault or the model fault. This is textbook manipulation.

The best advice I ever got was to spend 80% of my time on customer acquisition and 20% on recruiting. Most new distributors do the opposite because recruiting has bigger potential payoffs. But without customers, you are just building a house of cards.
