Is network marketing still a viable business model in 2026?

With the rise of social media marketing, e-commerce, and AI tools, is traditional network marketing still relevant? I see mixed opinions online. What do experienced network marketers think about the future of this industry?

I respectfully disagree with some of your points. Yes, most people do not make money, but that is true of any business. The SBA says 50% of traditional businesses fail within 5 years. At least with MLM the startup cost is low so the financial risk is minimal.

You nailed it. I spent 2 years in network marketing and the only thing I gained was a garage full of unsold product and a smaller bank account. But I did learn valuable sales skills that I now use in a real job.

I am a current distributor and I have to admit everything here is accurate. I still believe in my products but the business model has serious flaws that the industry needs to address.
