MLM companies with actual good products - do they exist?

Let us have an honest discussion. Setting aside the business model entirely, are there MLM companies that genuinely have superior products? I have heard arguments for Pampered Chef (good kitchen tools), Scentsy (quality candles), and Cutco (decent knives). But are these products actually better than what you can buy at a store, or do MLM distributors just believe that because they are financially invested? Can we separate product quality from the MLM business model?

This is such an important discussion. I have been in the MLM industry for 3 years and everything you said resonates with me. The gap between what we are told and what actually happens is massive. Thank you for being honest about your experience.

The best advice I ever got was to spend 80% of my time on customer acquisition and 20% on recruiting. Most new distributors do the opposite because recruiting has bigger potential payoffs. But without customers, you are just building a house of cards.

Former Herbalife nutrition club owner here. I invested $25,000 to set up my club. First year was brutal - barely covered rent. Second year I started making about $3,000 per month. Third year I was at $6,000 per month. Then COVID hit and I lost everything. The business model worked but it was fragile.
